Lebanese Style Steak aka Befteak


Ingredients:

2 lbs. Thinly cut Beef Steak

1 teaspoon Lebanese 7 Spice

Salt

2 Lemons

3 Large Cloves of Garlic, crushed

Drizzle of Olive Oil

Potatoes

Directions:

1. Get your favorite Steak meat and cut it thinly across and beat it so it becomes tender.

2. After it is cleaned, put your steak in a bowl.

3. Add the 7 Spices, Salt, Lemon (squeezed, you can add more or less as you desire, no rules here!), Garlic (crushed)

4. Marinate your steak for about 2-3 hrs. in the fridge. This will give it a great taste and it'll be more flavorful.

5. Cut about 3 medium potatoes into wedges. Wash and drain.

6. Turn on your oven to 450 F, put the steak and potatoes together in a pan and drizzle some olive oil on it. Make sure you add all the sauce from the steak marinate.

7. To make sure the potatoes can be tender add about a cup of water.

8. Cover it with aluminium foil and place in the oven.

You can add a side of Salad, Tabouli, Hummus, Toum, etc. Whichever you like!

This steak recipe can also be used for a nice BBQ! But when the weather decides to becomes nicer!
